El rol
This is a hands-on research role focused on developing experimental methods and understanding molecular behavior. You will design and carry out studies, troubleshoot complex results, and connect analytical measurements with the underlying chemistry and biophysical mechanisms.
We are particularly interested in scientists trained in biochemistry, structural biology, or molecular biophysics. Candidates from analytical chemistry backgrounds are also encouraged to apply if their experience includes biological systems and molecular interactions.
Responsabilidades principales
Develop and optimize sample preparation, purification, and analytical characterization workflows.
Design experiments to quantify molecular interactions and assess stability, conformation, and functional behavior.
Combine complementary methods to investigate structure–property–function relationships and resolve experimental inconsistencies.
Turn open scientific questions into testable hypotheses, appropriate controls, and reproducible experimental strategies.
Improve experimental throughput and scalability through parallel workflows, miniaturization, and appropriate laboratory automation.
Translate experimental findings into insights that inform modelling, formulation, and further development.
Document methods and results clearly and work across disciplines to refine experimental priorities.
Requisitos y habilidades
PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience with chromatographic separation, purification, and complementary spectroscopic or analytical techniques.
Strong foundation in structural biology or molecular biophysics, with the ability to relate molecular conformation and interactions to function.
Hands-on experience with analytical or biophysical methods for studying molecular interactions, stability, and structural properties.
Demonstrated ability to develop and troubleshoot experimental methods, assess data quality, and critically interpret quantitative results.
Scientific rigor, attention to reproducibility, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across disciplines.
A proactive approach to learning new methods and solving unfamiliar problems in a startup R&D environment.
Working English for reading and writing scientific and technical documentation.
